Hi, sorry for late response.

Peter Collis would like me to put together a cost/plan to implement Oracle to TianJin due to your problems you are seeing.
Once we have a plan, cost, we can start getting money.

Can you get in touch with Oracle China and ask them to discuss with you:
- Oracle overview presentation
- Scoping study
- To get a rough plan and costs of implementation

When you talk to them, advice:
AVX maintains a global single instance 12i located in Czech Republic, Europe
A Global Chart of Accounts defined by US headquters
We run Gen Ledger, Account Payables, Procurement, Inventory, also WIP, Fixed Assets, Cash Management. You might need more or less modules. What you select you should also justify.
We also want to deploy Portal, Single Sign on, use Oracle Business Intelligence such Discoverer.
Licences are purchased. We talk about Implementation costs, however we need to understand number of users you identify.

I suggest you invite them to your plant, explain situation, show issues, get a presentation of Oracle 12i

If they could then get in touch with me for any additional details and by working together get to a possition to set required scope and estimate costs.

I spoke to Peter Collis, suggesting we should get moving some scoping study for your plant.
Hoping we could possibly implement along US project in the pipeline.
He told me, he adviced you to go ahead and scope it.
