CUA(Central user administration) Settings

CUA settings

(The central system is 300. The child system is 500)

1)Create RFC connection

T-code SM59

R/3 connection->create CUA

Connection type 3

Target host (the client host’s name or ip)

Logon/security

Language EN

Client (you want to connection’s client)500

User CUA (I have create the user CUA in 500 and the user’s profile is SAP_ALL and SAP_NEW)

Password input CUA’s password

Save

2)Setting the logical system

T-code SALE

Application Link Enabling (ALE)-> Sending and Receiving Systems->Logical Systems->Define Logical System

Create two logical system DEV300 and PRD500.

Application Link Enabling (ALE)-> Sending and Receiving Systems->Logical Systems->Assign Client to Logical System

Assign the client to logical system

300->DEV300

500->PRD500

3)Setting port

Application Link Enabling (ALE)-> Sending and Receiving Systems-> Systems in Network-> Asynchronous Processing-> Maintain Ports-> Define Port

Select Transaction RFC -> create

Select Generate port name

RFC destination PRD500

Save

Login 500

Redo the step again

But the RFC destination is DEV300

4)Maintain Distribution Model

Application Link Enabling (ALE)-> Modelling and Implementing Business Processes->Maintain Distribution Model and Distribute Views-> Maintain->Create model view

Short text CUA

Technical name CUA

Save

Select Add BAPI

Sender/client DEV300

Receiver/client PRD500

Object name/interface USER

Method Clone

Save

Redo the above step

But the Object name/interface is UserCompany

Save

Environment->Generator Partner profile

5) Distribute

Choose CUA

Select Edit->Model view->Distribute

A pop dialog will appear

Fill the dialog with CUA

6) Generator the partner profile in child system

Login 500

T-code SALE

Application Link Enabling (ALE)-> Modelling and Implementing Business Processes->Maintain Distribution Model and Distribute Views

Environment->Generator Partner profile

6) Assign distribute model

Application Link Enabling (ALE)-> Modelling and Implementing Business Processes-> Predefined ALE Business Processes-> Cross-Application Business Processes-> Central User Administration-> Select Model View for Central Administration (T-code SCUA)

7) Testing

Create a user CUAtest

System fill DEV300 and PRD500

Roles brand

Select Text Comparison from child sys.

Save

Ok the user have been transferred to the PRD500.

You can set the parameter using T-code SCUM

Proposal is very important

If you select the proposal the parameter couldn’t transfer from to DEV300 to PRD500.

And you can modify the parameter in 500.
